Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine made by Russia gets nod for clinical trials in India

NEW DELHI: The Director General of Indian Drug Control (DCGI) has authorized Dr Reddy, a global pharmaceutical company based in India, to conduct phase 2 and 3 clinical trials of Covid’s Sputnik V vaccine 19 in Russia. On September 16, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited agreed on clinical trials and distribution of the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine in India.
