Tax officials to persuade 25,000 entities to file monthly GST returns by Monday
The government has ordered taxpayers to turn to more than 25,000 goods and services taxes (GSTs), which did not submit monthly summaries by November 20 to persuade non-fileers to file applications by Monday, officials asked for anonymity. “The GST network (GSTN) and tax officials would convince 25,000 taxpayers who did not submit their GSTR-3B returns by the deadline, that is, by November 20, 2020, October of this year,” said one official.
