Samsung Galaxy S9 is finally getting the Galaxy S10’s dedicated camera night mode For long, Samsung has had to face criticism for its sluggish approach in rolling out software updates for older devices. Just like on the Galaxy S10, the standalone Night mode (not to be confused with the automatic blue light filter on Samsung devices also called “Night Mode”) feature on the Galaxy S9 can be accessed by swiping across the camera UI through the different modes. Both – the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S9 – share the same camera hardware so the performance of the Night mode is expected to be similar. Besides the dedicated Night mode, Galaxy S9 devices are also getting the ability to change the intensity of the background blur while using the Live Focus mode on the front camera. The feature can also be expected to arrive on other premium devices including the Galaxy Note 9 soon.
