Four militants killed in three operations in J&K

Four militants, including a non-local Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) ‘commander, were killed and a civilian was injured in three anti-militancy operations of the security forces in Kashmir in the past 12 hours, the police said on Saturday. “Terrorist hiding inside fired indiscriminately injuring a civilian, Zahoor Ahmad Shergojri,” IGP Kumar said. With two sarpanchs killed this week in Kashmir, IGP Kumar said all the sarpanchs and panchs who are facing threats from terrorists have been provided safe accommodations in Srinagar and other district headquarters.
