Delhi government caps price of RT-PCR test by private labs at Rs 800
Hours after Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the authorities were lowering the price of the Covid-19 reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test, the Delhi government on Monday set the price of the test at private laboratories at Rs 800. Although testing is free at government agencies, it helps those who perform experiments in pvt laboratories, ”Kejriwal tweeted earlier on Monday. Using the method of tracing and testing aggressive contact, the Delhi government has conducted RT-PCR and rapid antigen tests to detect a novel coronavirus in the country’s capital.
