Shankar IAS Academy founder D Shankaran commits suicide in Chennai

CHENNAI: D Shankaran , founder and CEO of Shankar IAS Academy , a civil services coaching centre in Chennai, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his house at Mylapore on Thursday night. Police said Shankaran committed suicide after a fight with his wife Vaishnavi. After a fight with his wife on Thursday night, Shankaran went into his room after midnight and locked himself in it. His relatives took him to a private hospital in Mylapore where he was declared brought dead. He is a motivator to lot of civil service aspirants,” said Vaishnavi, an IAS aspirant.
